I just read the La Times article regarding a quite potent blow to the Clinton campaign. I don’t think I have to even say it but I will… Barack Obama is going to be the democratic candidate in the 2008 elections. I have yet to hear of ANY super delegates or for that matter.. ANY supporters of Obama switch to Hillary’s side. Hillary had better take all of Obama’s love in Ohio, or othwerwise, I don’t see her even making a dent in his campaign.
Once you go Barack, you can’t go back… I guess you can say.
I read today on the NYTimes that the actual people supporting Barack Obama has increased drastically, and that he is becoming a very solid choice as president. Well, a few days ago, I saw a few pie charts that showed where and who donated to all the various candidates, and it was broken up by how much they donated. I’m not sure, but I don’t think it included all the buttons, signs, and Barack Obama t-shirts he’s selling on his website to help fund his campaign, but it was truly inspired to see that 40-50% of his funding was from very small donations compared to say for example…Hillary Clinton… who had nearly the same percentage of her funding come from the elite ultra rich corporations of our country. This was such a solid point that showed how truly massive his support is in comparison to the others that are running. I’ll post the pie graph when I find it again, but wow.. makes ya think.
While looking around for some t-shirts tonight, I’ve found quite a few awesome ones I might have to eventually get. This one struck me off guard. Who would think to make a t-shirt like this of einstein? Some people definitely have an amazing imagination.
Speaking of T-shirts, I can’t wait till urban outfitters gets some new stuff.. their current shirts I must say are a little on the lame side.
I just can’t stop smirking at this simple design I’ve found when surfin around for t-shirts tonight. I don’t know why it’s so funny. Anyways, here’s a picture of the t-shirt:
T-shirts like this remind me of people’s coming to the idea that cops are just power hungry. This great example video I’ve seen that explains probably what this t-shirt designer was thinking about when he/she made it…
If you’re a supporter of Obama and you see this video, I don’t know how it doesn’t make you want to go out and try to somehow help him win these upcoming primaries and eventually the election. I was never a big fan of Obama Girl because of the “sex sells” message she had going for her, but with this one, Barack Obama couldn’t have asked for any better compilation or message. The whole “YES WE CAN” political message is on a whole different level that I’m thinking Hillary or even McCain would never have made for them. Honestly, besides Barack Obama, WHO else running for president would have something like this made for them… Ron Paul doesn’t really count since he’s so far out of the race, but really.. it’s just amazing how easily it is to spot the old fashioned politics compared to this new feel that Obama brings.
First off, I’m happy to be supporting Barack Obama in the upcoming elections, and you’ll hear about this on and off as I find something newsworthy or surreal about the political nature of electing a president. I think this little guy explains how crazy things have been in the primaries…
It’s been a nasty battle that’s reminding me of the final election count fiasco in Florida in 2004. Hillary and Obama are just going head to head in possibly the most heated election I’ve ever experienced. I can’t count how many times I’ve read the news and thought that Hillary was going to drop out.. her crying about everything, becoming incredibly hostile and attacking Obama any chance she gets, as well as her recent campaign manager stepping down. I can’t see any possible way that Obama is going to lose the democratic nomination… he represents way too much of what we need, and Hillary just doesn’t have anything to bring to the table.
